Job Title: XR/AV Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled XR/AV Technician to join our team at TeamPeople. As a key member of our XR team, you will be responsible for managing the creation and distribution of content via multiple methods of outreach, including live streaming, online, and pre-recorded content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support for XR projects, from 'in headset' capture to MR and AR workflows.
  • Evaluate and escalate bugs, issues, and blockers to appropriate teams and assist with the resolution as needed to maintain service levels.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical clients to explain our services as needed.
  • Help educate and coach clients on XR capabilities for projects and any alternative options to support their requests.
  • Develop and deliver new XR workflows to achieve creative briefs.
  • Attend regular meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor cloud-based systems remotely, troubleshoot as needed, and escalate if necessary.
  • Support the technical support lifecycle and manage technical risks throughout pre-production planning, execution, and post-event.
  • Deliver high-quality service to our clients and facilitate partner tours of the space.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion to the line manager.
  • Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Requirements:

  • Exposure or proven passion in the XR space.
  • Ability to operate equipment to support streaming, video conferencing, audio conferencing, local audio reinforcement, video technologies (including projection, switching, and formatting).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
  • Web or internet start-up environments and customer service experience are a plus.
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Organized and able to take direction well.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of production experience or experience in a production environment.
  • Asset workflow management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
