XR Technician Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled XR Technician to join our team at TeamPeople. As a key member of our XR team, you will be responsible for managing the creation and distribution of content via multiple methods of outreach, including live streaming, online, and pre-recorded content for marketing and promotional purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide operational support for XR projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.
  2. Collaborate with clients to educate and coach them on XR capabilities, providing alternative options to support their requests.
  3. Develop and deliver new XR workflows to achieve creative briefs, leveraging cloud-based production workflows and traditional AV workflows.
  4. Monitor cloud-based systems remotely, ensuring technical risks are mitigated throughout pre-production planning, execution, and post-event.
  5. Support the technical support lifecycle, managing technical risks and delivering high-quality service to our clients.
  6. Facilitate partner tours of the space, showcasing our capabilities and expertise.
  7. Operate equipment to support streaming, video conferencing, audio conferencing, local audio reinforcement, and video technologies, including projection, switching, and formatting.
  8. Develop excellent interpersonal skills, building relationships and collaborating with diverse teams.
  9. Utilize web or internet start-up environments and customer service experience to drive success.
  10. Manage asset workflow experience to optimize efficiency.
  11. Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience with XR landscape from a production or creative deployment perspective.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based production workflows and traditional AV workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Customer service experience in web or internet start-up environments.
  • Asset workflow management experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
