Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Protec Fire Detection PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the commissioning and maintenance of our fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commission and maintain fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire alarm systems, including testing and calibration of equipment.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and test fire alarm systems, identifying and reporting any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to design and implement new fire alarm systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of system maintenance, testing, and repairs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fire alarm commissioning and maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical circuits and measuring devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a strong commitment to safety and risk management.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel to client sites.
