About the Role

As an Area Manager at Amazon UK Services Ltd., you will be responsible for leading a team that ensures the smooth operation of our Fulfillment Centres. Your primary focus will be on creating and maintaining a culture of safety and quality, while driving productivity and efficiency across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement strategies to improve safety and wellbeing within the team
  • Analyse and implement changes to maintain high-quality and productivity levels
  • Oversee projects to streamline processes and optimise productivity
  • Monitor shift performance and implement actions to improve operational excellence
  • Collaborate with management-level colleagues to standardise shift practices
A Day in the Life

You will work on a shift pattern at one of our Fulfillment Centres, ensuring that the site is running as efficiently as possible. Your main focus will be on owning and driving a culture of safety and quality, while overseeing process improvements and driving implementation. You will also be a role model and mentor to new managers.

About the Team

The Customer Fulfilment team is the backbone of Amazon's operations, handling over 1.5 million orders every day. We are a dynamic and fast-paced team that is always looking for ways to improve and innovate. As an Area Manager, you will be part of a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our operations are safe, efficient, and of high quality.
