Job Title: Horticultural Grower

We are proud to be partnering with a fantastic organisation based within Cambridgeshire looking for an experienced Grower.

Job Summary:

As the Grower, you will be responsible for the production of high-quality plants with exclusive varieties. Conducting regular health checks, providing the correct care throughout the growth process.

You will implement advanced pest control measures, minimizing the use of chemical pesticides through early intervention and natural methods.

The company have invested in state-of-the-art technology including LED lighting, quality assurance systems, and purpose built glass houses, for you to ensure with precision, the optimal conditions for production

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular health checks and provide correct care throughout the growth process.
  • Implement advanced pest control measures, minimizing the use of chemical pesticides.
  • Work with state-of-the-art technology, including LED lighting and quality assurance systems.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and ensure optimal conditions for production.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for the role.
  • Proficiency in PA1, PA6, and PA9 certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in similar roles.
  • Strong ability to conduct health checks and diagnose issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with glass house operations.
  • Experience of maintaining product health in controlled environments.
