Quantity Surveyor Job Description

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will work on a range of projects with values from £1 million up to £35 million.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets to ensure alignment with forecasts.
  • Conduct valuations, process payments, and handle final accounts.
  • Produce cost reports, forecast expenditures, and manage cost-related risks.
  • Oversee tender processes, evaluate bids, and recommend contractors.
  • Provide financial advice and updates to clients.
  • Ensure adherence to building regulations and contract law.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Client-side/PQS experience preferred but not essential.
  • Experience within the industrial, education and/or multi-room sectors desirable but not essential.
  • Good tenure.
  • Full drivers license.
  • Willingness to work in the Northampton/Bristol/Birmingham office twice a week.
