About the Role

The Australian Government Department of Defence is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to join our Explosive Materiel Branch. As an ILS Officer, you will play a critical role in managing the logistics of explosive ordnance items, including guided weapons and munitions, used by the Australian Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide integrated logistic support for a range of explosive ordnance items, utilizing comprehensive administration and inventory management skills.
• Exercise sound data analysis, initiative, and judgment in applying appropriate practices and procedures to manage a fleet of inventory.
• Prepare and present relevant data and briefs for a range of stakeholders, utilizing excellent written and oral communication skills.

About the Team

The Explosive Materiel Branch is part of the Guided Weapons & Explosive Ordnance Systems Division, which is responsible for acquiring and sustaining guided weapons and munitions for the Australian Defence Force. Our team is made up of various disciplines, including engineering, project management, commercial, logistics, and corporate enabling services.
