Position Overview:

Role: Cover Teacher/HLTA
Subjects: Physical Education (PE) and Religious Education (RE)
Specialization: Preferred experience with students with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)

A dedicated educational institution is in search of a committed Cover Teacher/HLTA to assist in delivering lessons in PE and RE. Candidates with a background in teaching these subjects or experience with PMLD students are encouraged to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate engaging and interactive lessons in PE and RE.
  • Provide support to students with PMLD to help them reach their educational objectives.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching PE and RE or working with PMLD students.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
  • A strong commitment to working within a specialized educational environment.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain an Enhanced Child DBS.

All compensation rates mentioned will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
