Campus Internship Programme Undergraduate Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Undergraduate Information Security Analyst to join our Technology Risk & Information Security team as part of our Summer Intern Programme.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of security strategies and solutions to protect American Express from cyber threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
- Participate in security incident response and threat intelligence activities, providing timely and effective responses to security incidents.
- Support the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of secure network solutions, ensuring the availability and integrity of critical systems and data.
As an Undergraduate Information Security Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of security projects, developing your skills and knowledge in areas such as:
- Security incident response and threat intelligence
- Network security and architecture
- Cloud security and compliance
- Identity and access management
- Cryptography and encryption services
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A strong foundation in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for security and a desire to learn and grow in this field
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in a relevant field
