About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Technology Risk & Information Security team as a Graduate Information Security Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in protecting American Express's brand, employees, assets, and card members across the globe from cyber threats.

Responsibilities
  • Security Incident Response/Threat Intelligence: You will be responsible for identifying and responding to security incidents, as well as providing threat intelligence to the team.
  • Infrastructure, Application, Network, Cloud, & AI/ML Security: You will work on securing our infrastructure, applications, networks, and cloud environments, as well as implementing AI and machine learning-based security solutions.
  • Data Loss Prevention: You will be responsible for protecting sensitive data from loss or theft, and implementing measures to prevent data breaches.
  • Identity and Access Management/Authentication: You will work on implementing and maintaining our identity and access management systems, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data and systems.
  • Cryptography/Encryption Services: You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our cryptography and encryption services, ensuring that sensitive data is protected at rest and in transit.
Requirements
  • Cyber security education and/or industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge or awareness in information security, compliance, assurance, and/or other security standard processes and principles
