About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Red Kite School, a brand-new independent special educational needs school catering for up to 60 pupils with social and emotional health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support pupils with complex SEMH needs in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside.
  • Prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, with hands-on experience and supervision.
  • Take responsibility for pupils' emotional and physical needs, supporting their development as individuals and engagement with the world.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced teams to provide a supportive and enriching learning environment.
Requirements
  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with SEN and in a school setting.
  • Adaptability and a responsive, caring approach.
