Role Overview:

As a Logistics Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include adhering to established procedures, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that the Production Team receives necessary materials in a timely and efficient manner. Your goal will be to meet productivity benchmarks while ensuring that all warehouse activities are executed efficiently and without delay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold safety and environmental standards within the warehouse.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in employee safety.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Drive site improvements and enforce operational standards.
  • Conduct daily assessments and reviews of process performance.
  • Implement continuous improvement strategies, stable operations, and LEAN methodologies.
  • Meet production goals, including yield and efficiency metrics.
  • Align planning and scheduling of ingredients with operational requirements.
  • Enhance the existing culture of continuous improvement within the department.
  • Support and advocate for the use of continuous improvement tools such as 5Why, RCA's, and 5S.
  • Maintain awareness of racking safety protocols.
  • Possess a valid Forklift Truck (FLT) License.
  • Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 certification.

Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in the food processing sector, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire team members.
  • Experience in talent development and team management.
  • Practical and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in leading, coaching, and developing teams.
  • Fully competent in IT applications.
