Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Front of House Supervisor to join our team at WO's & Sgts Mess BO2, Merville Barracks, Colchester. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of front of house staff and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate a team of front of house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee the front of house areas to ensure they are clean, tidy, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the catering management and chefs to ensure seamless operations.
  • Identify and report near misses to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety walks to identify potential hazards.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to ensure they are confident and happy in their roles.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with knowledge of catering operations and team leading experience.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Flexibility to work at a fast pace and adapt to changing situations.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
