Multi Skilled Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturer in the UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of engineering, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements to our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to production equipment and machinery
  • Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Perform electrical and mechanical work, including installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment
  • Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
Requirements:
  • Recognised engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/HND, degree)
  • Proven technical knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literate and familiar with 17th Edition
Working Hours:

The role is based on a 2, 2, 3 shift pattern, with 2 days on, 2 days off, and 3 nights on. This means you will have every other weekend off.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £47,000 DOE, plus overtime paid at 1.5x.
