Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturer in the UK. As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of engineering, including maintenance, repairs, and improvements to our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to production equipment and facilities
  • Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet quality standards
  • Collaborate with other engineers and production staff to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce downtime and increase output

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in FMCG or similar production unit
  • Recognised engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/HND or degree in engineering)
  • Proven technical knowledge and experience in maintenance and repair of production equipment
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literate with experience of CMMS systems
  • 17th Edition qualified
