Embedded Firmware Engineer

Sensata Technologies is seeking a skilled Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing our next-generation TPMS software platform.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop firmware for our TPMS software platform, ensuring it meets the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with hardware components.
  • Develop and maintain software frameworks to support rapid development and growth in new markets.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and develop software solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in embedded systems and firmware development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in embedded firmware development using C or C++.
  • Strong understanding of register maps, memory spaces, and interfaces such as SPI, I2C, and parallel busses.
  • Experience with Linux, GCC, makefiles, linker scripts, GDB, and version control systems like Git.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
