Embedded Firmware Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team at Sensata Technologies. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in architecting and developing our next-generation TPMS software platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop firmware for our TPMS software platform, ensuring it meets the highest quality and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate firmware with other system components.
  • Develop and maintain software frameworks and tools to support firmware development and testing.
  • Work closely with our silicon design team to ensure firmware is compatible with customer-specific ASICs and TPMS.
  • Contribute to the development of automated build and release processes to ensure timely and quality software delivery.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in embedded firmware development using C or C++.
  • Strong understanding of electronics, computer science, and software development principles.
  • Experience with GCC, git, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
