Critical Care Outreach Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team on a 6-month secondment. The successful candidate will work alongside our CNS/ANP to deliver patient-focused programmes of care, addressing the complex health and wellbeing needs of acutely ill and deteriorating patients.
The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care nursing and a passion for working across the trust with multi-disciplinary teams to provide the best care possible. They will also be seeking opportunities to expand their abilities in team working, leadership, and delivery of excellent patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Manage caseload effectively and contribute to the support and professional development of team members.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with individuals and groups, demonstrating assertiveness and ability to challenge others when necessary.
- Contribute to the achievement of the best standard of nursing care across the trust, facilitating care based on best research evidence and patient-centered principles.
- Practice in accordance with professional, ethical, and legal codes, and be accountable for own practice and delegation of care.
- Registered Nurse (Pt 1/12)
- ENB 998/ Slice, C&G 730 or equivalent
- Health-related degree or working towards, or able to demonstrate evidence of working at that level
- Critical care qualification or equivalent
- Evidence of leadership, management, and speciality development
- NVQ Assessor
