Your Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of our Occupational Therapy services, ensuring best practices are implemented and maintained.
  • Manage your own complex caseload of patients effectively, prioritizing clinical needs and optimizing time utilization.
  • Utilize advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based knowledge to assess patient needs, diagnose conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Employ effective communication and behavior change strategies to empower patients in managing their acute or chronic conditions.
  • Continuously evaluate and adjust treatment goals in collaboration with patients, caregivers, and the multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide expert recommendations to colleagues and members of the MDT regarding patient care and management.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to discussions and decisions related to patient care and discharge planning.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Demonstrated specialized knowledge acquired through relevant postgraduate training.
  • Experience working with patients in both inpatient and outpatient/community neurological settings.
  • Proven experience across various inpatient specialties, including orthopedics, medical, and post-surgical care.
  • Strong collaborative skills and experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
