Job Opportunity for Part-Time Accountant

TPF Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Accountant to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of accounts, tax computations, and bookkeeping tasks for a range of clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including sole trader, partnership, and limited company accounts.
  • Prepare corporate and income tax computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including preparing VAT returns and managing client records.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert advice.
  • Opportunity to work on various projects, including CIS, payroll, and making tax digital.
Requirements
  • Qualification in accounting, such as AAT or ACA/ACCA, with relevant experience in a practice environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including Iris, Sage, or Xero, is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work part-time, with a minimum of 3 days per week.
