About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team at Boots. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality Phlebotomy services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and verify their details
  • Explain the phlebotomy procedure to patients
  • Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate records
  • Take various patient measurements, including height, weight, and waist circumference
  • Collect and maintain venous blood samples according to UK guidelines
  • Ensure samples are prepared for delivery to the correct laboratory within required timescales
  • Communicate effectively with the in-store Pharmacist and pharmacy team
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is desirable, but full training will be provided
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Empathetic and approachable with excellent communication skills
  • Digitally savvy and comfortable with technology
  • Passion for customer care and working in healthcare
  • Ability to work as part of a busy team
