About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sports Coach to join our team at Let's Play, a leading childcare provider in the South East of England and The Midlands. As a Sports Coach, you will be responsible for delivering sports activities to children aged 5-12 years old during our Fun Week programme at Chesham Leisure Centre.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a variety of sports games to a high standard, catering for children of mixed ability.
  • Manage and motivate your team to ensure they are delivering the programme to a high standard.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, staffing team, and directors on a regular basis.
  • Ensure sessions delivered are challenging, realistic, and fun for primary-aged children.
  • Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.
  • Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.
  • Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is Fun, Inclusive, and Educational.
Requirements
  • Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
  • Has experience working at children's holiday camps and/or a childcare setting.
  • Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and general practice.
  • Punctual, reliable, and committed.
  • Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.
