About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Physical Education Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term basis. As a key member of our PE department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality curricular and extracurricular sporting experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess Physical Education lessons to students of various ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement engaging extracurricular sports programs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive PE curriculum
  • Provide coaching and guidance to students and staff
  • Contribute to the development of school sports teams and events
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A good honours degree and qualified teacher status
  • Evidence of relevant CPD and coaching qualifications
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of current developments in teaching, learning, and the curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for PE and sport, with the ability to inspire students and staff
