About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bus Driver Trainer to join our team at Realise. As a Bus Driver Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training to our learners, helping them to achieve their goals and develop the skills they need to become professional Bus Drivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver top-quality learning experiences to our learners, using your experience and expertise to create engaging and effective training sessions.
  • Manage an effective caseload of learners, enabling them to achieve all aspects of their apprenticeship, including end-point assessment.
  • Utilise a range of teaching methods to suit individual learner preferences, including group training sessions, remotely and face-to-face.
  • Put quality at the forefront of everything you do, for your learners, employers, and team.
Requirements
  • Significant bus driving experience.
  • Valid CPC and PCV licence.
  • Experience delivering training/mentoring, such as practical bus driver training, classroom training, CPC Training, route learning, and vehicle familiarisation.
  • Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (desirable, not essential).
  • ICT literate.
  • Assessment qualification (TAQA Level 3/A1/D32/33) (desirable but not essential, we will put you through this qualification).
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) (desirable but not essential, we will put you through this qualification).
