As a Trainee Bus Driver with Diamond Bus, you will embark on a comprehensive 2-week residential training program to obtain your PCV license. Our dedicated training school in Bolton, Greater Manchester, provides a supportive environment for you to learn and grow. You will receive:

  • Full PCV training worth over £4,000, providing you with a qualification for life
  • Support and guidance while passing all modules of the PCV license acquisition
  • CPC training and continuous training to ensure you keep your hard-earned qualifications
  • Extensive route learning and vehicle familiarization before you go out in service for the first time
  • Company-specific training, including ticket machines, processes, systems, defensive driving techniques, customer care, policies, and procedures

Requirements

To be considered for the trainee driver program, applicants must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a valid car driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Have already applied for and received their provisional category D license from the DVLA
  • Have a good understanding of the English language and the ability to communicate with passengers
