Job Title: Junior Estimator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous Junior Estimator to join our Business Development team at Tech Connect Group. As a Junior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in quoting and planning work into the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for machined components and complex pipe assemblies, including the bill of materials required for customer quotations.
  • Production/Manufacturing Process Sheets: Create detailed sheets ensuring all processes are included and comply with customer contract requirements.
  • Product Performance Assessment: Conduct margin analysis and explore cost reduction opportunities.
  • Quoting Module Development: Collaborate with the Commercial Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Epicor Teams to enhance the quoting module for accurate and user-friendly quote generation.
  • Commercial Proposals Preparation: Work with team members across various UK and International sites.

Requirements:

  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel and other Microsoft Office packages, with ERP experience.
