Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Role

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our warehouse and delivery network.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, and conduct preventative maintenance on time to a high standard.
  2. Provide high levels of equipment availability to internal customers through troubleshooting and prioritization.
  3. Support continuous improvement of systems across the EU network.
  4. Develop and maintain good working relationships across all levels in the organization.
  5. Manage contractors and oversee maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  1. Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines with experience in automation or complex MHE environments.
  2. Solid foundational knowledge of PLC-based controls systems.
  3. Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  4. Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements.
  5. Ability to communicate in English and the local language at CEFR Level B2 or higher.
  6. Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Proven ability to supervise and influence others on the team.
  2. Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize many different projects and workload.
  3. Experience of multi-contractor management.
  4. Experience in a multi-site environment.
