We are seeking a Technical Service Consultant to join our team, focusing on the Midlands and/or the North West regions of England.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site technical assistance to both existing and prospective clients.
- Oversee line trials to foster new business opportunities.
- Perform local color adjustments or application modifications for urgent requirements.
- Coordinate regional color updates among various color departments.
- Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to identify solution-based selling opportunities.
- Conduct audits of plants and processes, generating reports to guide improvements.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
- Cultivate relationships with key accounts in the plastics sector, ensuring trust in Axalta's service quality.
- Participate as a member of the EMEA technical team to enhance knowledge and expertise regarding Axalta's plastic coating products and application techniques.
Key Requirements:
- Familiarity with both solvent-based and waterborne paint technologies.
- Understanding of application processes, products, and technologies.
- Proficiency in color matching and recognizing effect variations.
- Strong time management and self-organization skills.
- Effective communication abilities.
- Competent IT skills, including the ability to create presentations and analyses for both internal and external audiences.
