About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Sustainability Advisor to join our team at Colas Rail UK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional advice and guidance on safety and sustainability matters to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement safety and sustainability strategies to minimize risks and promote a positive safety culture.
  • Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
  • Monitor and report on safety and sustainability performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
  • Member of an appropriate professional institute, achieved or working towards CMIOSH.
  • Proven experience in occupational health and safety management, including risk assessment and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
