Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our team at a depot servicing multiple retailers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the transport planning operation to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the transport planning operation to meet agreed service levels
  • Allocate resources, organize schedules, and ensure robust planning is in place
  • Daily data input of KPIs, daily delivery and collection issues, and prepare paperwork for palletized deliveries
  • Report on accidents and vehicle damage
  • Meet transport legislation commitments from a planning perspective
  • Manage the workload for 3PL transport

Requirements:

  • Operational experience gained within a fast-paced environment
  • Full conversance with up-to-date transport planning tools
  • Passion for continuous improvement
