Join a leading food manufacturer as they seek a seasoned Head of Despatch to lead their despatch team and drive sustainable improvement. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for minimising pick rates, monitoring and controlling pallets and trays, and delivering a high-quality product to customers while ensuring the team adheres to all HSE policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the despatch team to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce pick rates and improve inventory management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations
  • Manage mobile handling equipment and haulier contracts to optimise logistics
  • Deliver departmental budgets in line with company forecasts

Requirements:
