We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to support our Banqueting Manager in the daily operation of our food and beverage departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in events management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Banqueting Manager in the planning and execution of private events, weddings, and conferences.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the bar and restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies.
- Identify and address any service issues or concerns, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume events environment.
- Strong knowledge of wine and spirits, with the ability to make recommendations and manage inventory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
