Cloud Reliability Specialist

FIS Global is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Reliability Specialist to join our Capital Markets production operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high stability, reducing service downtime, and improving quality of service for our clients in private and public cloud environments.

• Day-to-Day Operations: Participate in the daily operations of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring seamless performance and minimal downtime.
• Incident Triage: Lead incident triage calls to quickly identify and resolve issues, minimizing their impact on our clients.
• Release Management: Configure and deploy product releases, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to our services.
• Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.

• Technical Expertise: Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and PowerShell, as well as knowledge of scalability, high availability, and performance.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Experience with private and public cloud infrastructure, including deployment, management, and optimization.
• Change Management: Proven experience with change management and incident resolution.
• Monitoring Tools: Proficiency in monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Technical Skills: Skills in Windows and SQL Server, as well as experience with PowerShell and MS SQL programming.

• Production Monitoring: Hands-on experience in production monitoring, including identifying and resolving issues in real-time.
• Networking: Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including protocols, devices, and architectures.
• Programming Skills: Experience with PowerShell and MS SQL programming, as well as basic understanding of financial applications.
• LaserFiche: Familiarity with LaserFiche, a document management system.
