Registration and Revalidation Adviser Positions - Associate Professions Applications Team
We are excited to announce several permanent and fixed-term positions within our newly formed team.
The General Medical Council (GMC) is embarking on the regulation of physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs), creating a distinctive opportunity to be part of the Associate Professions Applications Team. This team is being established within the Registration and Revalidation directorate to oversee registration applications from PAs and AAs.
We are looking to recruit five Applications Advisers who will be instrumental in managing and processing applications and inquiries from PAs and AAs seeking to join the PA/AA Register, adhering to GMC protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of registration applications from PAs and AAs.
- Review, process, and advance applications and recommendations according to GMC protocols, information security policies, and GDPR standards.
- Address inquiries and questions from PAs and AAs throughout the application process.
- Identify potential issues regarding PAs and AAs applying for the Register and escalate these concerns to your team coordinator.
Application Process:
To assist with your application, we will host a virtual information session where you can gain insights into the role and receive guidance on the application process.
An in-person assessment center will be conducted, followed by virtual interviews. Additional details will be provided at a later stage.
This position requires full-time availability (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday). Flexible working arrangements may be considered upon request. Initially, successful candidates will be expected to attend the office several days a week, with potential adjustments based on performance and team needs.
