This role is dedicated to assisting young individuals aged 16-26 who are experiencing homelessness, alongside our newly established South Lanarkshire Futures initiative in collaboration with local housing and social work departments, aimed at supporting Care Experienced Young People in securing stable housing.

The position offers a maximum of 22.5 hours per week, and we encourage applications from those interested in part-time opportunities or shorter contracts.

This role may be ideal for individuals balancing other commitments, such as academic pursuits or seeking to gain valuable experience. We are in search of a versatile candidate who possesses a vehicle and is willing to travel across Lanarkshire. Applicants should have a background in working with young adults (ages 16-26), preferably within the homelessness or housing sector. The successful candidate will be registered with the SSSC or be prepared to register upon appointment. A qualification at HNC or SVQ3 level in social care is required. Knowledge and experience regarding the challenges faced by homeless individuals and/or Care Experienced Young People will be highly beneficial, as will experience in case management and the ability to manage one's own schedule.
