Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster meaningful relationships with residents to help them adapt to life in a care setting.
  • Provide exceptional personal and emotional support to all residents in a compassionate manner.
  • Maintain effective communication with management, senior staff, culinary team, and family members to ensure seamless operations and collaboration.
  • Accurately complete necessary documentation as agreed upon with management on a monthly basis.
  • Uphold the rights of residents and staff in alignment with our care philosophy by being vigilant about practices and activities in place.
  • Ensure confidentiality of client, staff, and business information at all times.
  • Organize and plan engaging activities for both daytime and evening schedules.
  • Stay informed about Health and Safety regulations and requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the activities program effectively.
  • Evaluate residents' needs and establish activity goals for their personalized care plans.
  • Motivate residents to participate in activities and document their experiences and outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide necessary support to all staff, aligning with the home's objectives and the well-being of residents.
  • Maintain open lines of communication within the staff teams, individual colleagues, and residents.
  • Always uphold confidentiality regarding client and business matters.
  • Perform any additional tasks as requested by management.
  • Engage in training and development opportunities that enhance your contributions to our home.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
