We are seeking an experienced and confident Pharmacy Manager to join our team at DAYTIME HEALTHCARE RECRUITMENT LIMITED in a National Private Hospital Group in Reading.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide an exemplary pharmacy service, in accordance with current legislation, clinical requirements, and accepted professional and ethical standards.
  • Offer advice and support to consultants, other clinicians, and patients while ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Lead, motivate, and effectively manage the pharmacy team by providing excellent leadership.
  • Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments, while staying compliant with current legislation and professional standards.
  • Lead quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy with the aim of instilling a continuous learning culture within the team.
  • Promote a patient-focused multidisciplinary approach to the delivery of an efficient, high-quality healthcare service.

**Requirements:**

  • Be General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) registered, with no restrictions or conditions on your registration.
  • Have experience working in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist, which is essential.
  • Have leadership/managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting.
  • Have an awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Share evidence-based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards.
