Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Trader to join our European Gas Trading team at E1 EDF Trading Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement profitable trading strategies for the European Gas Trading business, working closely with the Head of Trading to identify growth opportunities.
Assist with managing the execution of trading positions, utilizing risk management techniques and analytical tools to optimize results.
Collaborate with the Origination department to support origination strategy for Europe, and provide marketing support in less liquid markets.
Work with the 24-hour operations team to increase commercial knowledge and out of hours trading opportunities.
Requirements
Experience working in a commodity trading environment, with a good working knowledge of the Gas markets.
Strong understanding of effective risk management and market analysis experience a plus.
Graduate level in an analytically-based discipline, with a Master's degree in a quantitative field or CQF equivalent a strong advantage.
Motivated, business-oriented person with good communication and analytical skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Hours
40 hours a week.
