About the Role

We are seeking a skilled European Gas Trader to join our team at Koch Supply & Trading. As a key member of our European Gas and Power business, you will be responsible for providing proprietary trading strategies in NW European gas markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement trading strategies to grow the portfolio outside of current capabilities in NW Europe.

• Collaborate with the wider commercial team to maintain and develop desk trading strategy and point of view.

• Drive the development of new gas analytics and future strategy development.

• Maintain and support fundamental research on the European energy markets for Koch.

Requirements

• Several years of trading experience in NWE gas markets with a proven track record of value creation.

• Solid understanding of gas market balancing dynamics and European gas market infrastructure.

• Knowledge of technical trading strategies.

• Accomplished at building a diversified strategy approach to risk deployment.

• Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills.

• Good knowledge and proven application of weather fundamentals in gas and power markets.

• Previous experience of European gas market fundamental analysis.
