Deputy Supported Housing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Supported Housing Manager to join our team at YMCA DownsLink Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supported housing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Supported Housing Manager in the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and service specifications.
  • Ensure the quality of accommodation provided, working closely with the Housing and Property Services team to complete estate inspections and health and safety risk assessments.
  • Directly line manage team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver high-quality services to our young people.
  • Be a member of the 'on call' rota, providing out-of-hours management support to projects in the wider locality.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in supported housing or similar services for young people and/or adults at risk.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Working knowledge of Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and Ofsted regulations.
  • Experience of overseeing safeguarding procedures for young people or adults at risk in residential settings.
