Key Responsibilities
  • Execute export bookings and maintain effective communication with customers.
  • Prepare and manage various export documentation.
  • Proficiently use internal export management systems.
  • Document customer requirements in the SOP database.
  • Conduct credit and denied party screenings prior to shipment.
  • Adhere to internal quality standards and compliance policies.
  • Handle client billings accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with service providers.
  • Declare permits if required after passing the Customs Competency test.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Escalate issues to Management when necessary.
  • Undertake additional tasks to meet departmental needs and goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum tertiary educational level.
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of ocean documentation process or experience in the industry is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Effective interpersonal skills with clear and concise communication.
  • Proactive with strong organizational skills.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word) and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluency in English.
