Job Title: Trading Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Trading Assistant to join our night shift team at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd. As a Trading Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, working closely with our colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of product presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the trading team in maintaining a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment
  • Assist with receiving and processing deliveries, including unloading and storing stock
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or trading environment is desirable, but not essential

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
