Supporting Vulnerable Children

We are seeking a dedicated Graduate to work as an Aspiring Clinical Psychologist / SEN Support Assistant at a school in Camberley, supporting children aged 4-19 with complex needs.

This role offers a unique opportunity to put your studies into practice and gain hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs. You will work alongside teachers and specialist staff to provide consistency and equip children with tools to feel safe, secure, empowered, and believe in their ability to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with learning difficulties, including autism, sensory impairments, physical difficulties, and associated challenging behaviors.
  • Work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, and Counsellors to provide a comprehensive support system.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers, and specialist staff.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized support plans to meet the needs of students.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Approachable and able to build robust relationships with students.
  • Able to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
  • High levels of empathy, caring, and compassion.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic, with a professional approach to work.

What We Offer:

  • Excellent on-site training and support to ensure safeguarding of all students.
  • Competitive daily rate of £80-£85.
  • Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Right to work in the UK is essential.
