Job Summary:

As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the care of clients with diverse complex care needs, ensuring they receive exceptional service from a well-trained and compassionate team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Nurse Manager to ensure smooth care package transitions and maintain familiarity with clients through regular shifts.
  • Select and introduce support workers to effective teams, ensuring they possess the necessary clinical skills and receive relevant training.
  • Review and update care plans with the Nurse Manager, ensuring full care package coverage and managing absences.
  • Identify staffing gaps, assist with recruitment, and mentor support workers to address training needs.
  • Keep accurate care and supervisory records, monitoring client satisfaction and reporting concerns.
  • Follow safeguarding policies and report safety issues.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
  • Commit to achieving a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care within two years, funded by Superior Healthcare.
  • Experience working with people living with complex health needs, such as tracheostomies, ventilators, gastrostomy tubes, and bowel management care.
