About the Role:
Aviation Recruitment specialists, Optime Group, are seeking a dedicated Customer Care Agent to enhance the travel experience at a major airport. As a key member of the Airport Operations Team, you will be the friendly face that travelers rely on, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable airport journey.

What We Offer:

  • Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour
  • Working Hours: 24 hours per week
  • Shift Pattern: 4 ON / 4 OFF (commitment to the roster is essential)
  • Shifts: Between 16:00 and 22:00
  • Part-Time Hours: 16:00 to 22:00, 6 hours per day, 4 on 4 off – totaling 21 hours per week
  • Shift Length: Average of 6 to 8 hours per day
  • Payment: Weekly (every Friday)
  • Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent (based on performance)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain professionalism, politeness, and courtesy at all times.
  • Assist special assistance passengers and their families through the airport, utilizing wheelchairs or electric buggies as needed.
  • Provide support with passenger luggage.
  • Complete daily equipment checks to ensure operational reliability, reporting any defects as necessary.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of wheelchairs and buggies.
  • Update Centralised Control on progress using IT handsets.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and submit promptly.
  • Perform any additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Proven customer service abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Full UK Driving License (desirable).
  • Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure.
  • Previous experience in an airport setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Essential Documentation:

  • Valid manual driving license.
  • Desirable language skills: Urdu, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Passport or Birth Certificate.
  • UK Settled Status (if applicable).
  • Proof of National Insurance.
  • Proof of current address.
  • 5-year address history.
  • 5-year work reference history.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a basic DBS record check in accordance with CAA requirements.

Note: As this position is within the aviation sector, candidates must provide a 5-year checkable history.
