Job Summary:

The Procurement Vehicle Lead will be responsible for managing the procurement of vehicle components and materials for Triumph Motorcycles, a leading manufacturer of motorcycles in the UK. The successful candidate will have experience in procurement and supply chain management, with a strong understanding of the motorcycle industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely delivery of vehicle components and materials.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best possible prices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product planning, engineering, and project management, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the motorcycle industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement, including supply chain disruptions and quality control issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the motorcycle industry.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, including contract management, supplier relationship management, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
