Job Summary:

The Procurement Category Manager will lead and manage a team of Procurement Category Specialists/Buyers in Powertrain, Chassis Parts, or Electrical Commodities to achieve best value for Triumph through the supply chain for direct components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop category/commodity strategies and sourcing initiatives to support production volume growth, maintain high quality standards, reduce development lead-times, and reduce BOM cost.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and QC teams to ensure cross-functional alignment and balanced outcomes.
  • Work with the wider product, design, and QC functions to champion the development of the performance of our existing supply base and identify new sources.
  • Analyze trends in categories/commodities and advise on suitable sources for upcoming motorcycle development programs.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and management experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
