Operations Director

Our client, a leading engineering company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. As a senior management position, this role will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and overseeing the site's operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the continuous improvement of manufacturing techniques through design and process management.
- Manage a multidisciplinary engineering team, including quality, design, and manufacturing engineers.
- Provide technical direction across the organization, with a focus on delivering high-quality products efficiently.
- Implement best practices and roll out instructions to engineering team leads and operatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 framework and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Degree in an engineering-related field.
- Experience leading a team in an engineering manufacturing setting.
- Experience in NPI & NPD, with the ability to use Solidworks.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to get the best out of your team.
A competitive salary between £55-65k, depending on experience, with KPI bonuses, private medical insurance, enhanced pension contributions, and an early finish on Fridays.
