The individual in this role will collaborate closely with the Director to implement the Institute's varied activities aimed at promoting and supporting the UK Philosophy community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, organizing academic events, providing research support, managing fellowships, facilitating public engagement, and encouraging knowledge exchange.

The postholder will oversee the financial management of the Institute, reporting directly to the Institute Director and the SAS Director of Operations. Additionally, the individual will lead the documentation and reporting of the Institute's operational activities and manage internal and external communications with stakeholders.

For a comprehensive role profile, please refer to the detailed job description.

The University reserves the right to close the vacancy earlier than the published end date should it receive sufficient applications to warrant earlier shortlisting.

Preferential consideration will be given to the University redeployment pool.

The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework, involving a combination of remote and in-office work. For this role, the postholder will be expected to work from the Institute offices for a minimum of 60% of their working week and may be required to be in the office more frequently during certain weeks for training or team meetings.

The University of London is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive working environment where everyone can thrive. We particularly encourage applications from individuals belonging to Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities, as this group is currently under-represented at all levels within the University. All appointments will be made based on merit, according to the criteria outlined in the job description.

Pursuing excellence in education and equal opportunities.
