Job Title: Scholarly Communications Assistant (Institutional Repository)Company: University of Greenwich

The University of Greenwich is a leading institution in providing high-quality support to the academic community, aligning with the university's strategic objectives.

  • The role sits within the Funding Support and Information Services Team, fostering collaboration between the university library and the Research and Innovation unit.
  • Collate information about APC deals and manage our information about APCs for reporting purposes.
  • Contribute to the checking and regular uploading of theses into the repository, as well as the working papers received from the Faculty of Business.
  • Work closely with the Scholarly Communications Manager to design and undertake data quality checks in the repository, produce reports, and contribute to training and outreach activities.

The postholder will support the day-to-day activities of the Scholarly Communications Manager, including social media and training initiatives.

The Research and Innovation unit is structured to support all aspects of the project cycle, from identifying relevant funding opportunities to maximising the impact from the university's activities.
